The Music Doctor in Shingle Springs is auctioning a basic adjust and regulate repair on a woodwind or brass musical instrument.  This repair is limited to the parts, materials, and labor listed below.  After initial assessment, the winner will be given an estimate for any additional parts or labor (if necessary).  Valued at $150!

Woodwind Repair Descriptions

A&R - Adjust and Regulate (Play Condition): Oil, adjust and regulate key mechanisms; remove lost motion; replace key corks and felts as needed; fit flute joints as needed; remove minor accessible dents on flutes and saxophones; replace up to four pads (except professional flute); cost of parts not included in job price.

Brass Repair Descriptions

Job1 - General Service: Complete disassembly; basic cleaning; correct piston/rotor valve alignment; correct rotor back bearing fit and alignment; restring rotors and/or adjust linkage on rotary valve instruments; replace corks, felts and springs as needed; lubricate and reassemble to good playing condition; remove minor accessible dents; replace water key corks; cost of additional parts not included in price.
